| The story of Moonshine & Sunshine I adopted a stray kitten and named her Sunshine because of her color. Then she decided to adopt Moonshine! He didn't mind when she was little, but when she developed full-size claws, he told her to back off. She still loves him but from a distance. The best story about Moonshine is how my beagle Olivia taught him all kinds of bad habits. One Christmas season, I was keeping boxes of candy in the refrigerator as gifts. I came home one day and found the boxes in the living room, empty! Olivia had taught Moonshine how to open the refrigerator (she was too short to reach the handle) and they shared the candy. Fortunately, the only side effect was a lot of poop. Since then I have had to keep a lock on the refrigerator! Edith |
